ISA Tell Us About Her is a campaign run in March by the Wiki Loves Women initiative, aimed at enhancing the representation of women through images on Wikimedia Commons. This drive focuses on adding or improving descriptions of images featuring women, ensuring their stories and contributions are better represented and more accessible across Wikimedia platforms. Through the use of the ISA tool, contributors engage in a fun and collaborative effort to tag images with structured and multilingual metadata. This initiative not only improves discoverability but also empowers communities to celebrate women’s stories and achievements through visual documentation. Since its start in 2020, the ISA campaigns have resulted in over 166,415 contributions, showcasing the incredible collective effort of contributors worldwide.
