Each year, the ISA Tell Us About Her campaign invites contributors from across the Wikimedia movement to enrich images of women on WikiCommons with Wikidata-linked information.

In 2025, the campaign embraced the theme Women in Literature, celebrating writers, poets, and storytellers whose words have shaped ideas and inspired generations. Participants explored creative ways to connect visual and written knowledge, helping to ensure that women’s literary legacies are more visible and better represented across Wikimedia platforms.

This year, the campaign saw 19,209 contributions, improving 60,682 images. Compared to the previous year, the ISA Tell Us About Her Campaign 2025 demonstrated a notable improvement in the quality and depth of image descriptions. While the overall number of contributions decreased, participants produced richer, more accurate content and showed a stronger understanding of the ISA tool’s functionality and purpose.
