It’s finally done.
It is now possible to for all volunteers from Douala to meet up for the wikithons and other linked events.
Indeed, in order to promote the activities linked to Wiki Loves Women project, a partnership has been created with ActivSpaces to create the Wiki Africa community.
ActiveSpaces is a Tech incubator and its aim is to create and develop an ecosystem which enables the development of technologies in Cameroon. Being a non-profit organisation, ActivSpaces helps startups in the Technology area by offering them a free working space, an internet connexion and a mentoring program.
Thanks to them, we managed to organise our first event on Saturday 6th of August 2016 to introduce the project and work on the schedule of the different future meetings.
