On the 30th July , the Wiki Loves Women (Ghana) Team hosted an event dubbed the ”Wiki Women’s Hack” at the Goethe Institut in Accra.
This was the 5th event the group was hosting to bring people together volunteers especially women in Ghana to have a first hand experience on Wikipedia as well as contribute content on Wikipedia. As it has always been the case this event was dominated by females.
In all 7 new articles were created 10 existing ones were improved and participants were asked to continue adding contents.
The ever enthusiastic volunteers were keen to know more and also help build a Wikipedia they can proudly own.
