It was a carnival-like atmosphere in the city of Abuja  for  two days,  when Project Pink Blue co-hosted Wiki Loves Women in collaboration with Wikimedia UG Nigeria (WUGN), WikiAfrica, and Goethe Institut . The event titled Inspired Women: Health and Community  aimed at commemorating Nigerian women within and outside the country. It took place on the 28th -29th of September at American Corner, Women Development Center. Representatives of many high profile NGOs in the city graced the 2-day event.

The event started on the 28th September, 2016 with focus on theoretical aspect of Wikipedia and Wikimedia Common.

The second day, 29th September 2016 centered on content creation. This session created 6 significant articles about Nigerian women namely:

  1. Ifeoma Malo– A Nigerian lawyer
  2. Betty Irabor–  A Nigerian female writer
  3. Lois Auta– A Nigerian physically challenged  sport promoter
  4. Grace Alache Jerry– She is a physically challenged Nigerian beauty queen
  5. Lisa Folawiyo– A Nigerian fashion designer
  6. Bisi Ibidapo-Obe – A Nigerian actress
